End of Summer 2014 updates

July and August have been busy and exciting and productive.  I have been meeting new people at my readings and performances.

The highlight of July was my afternoon at the Woodstock Library Fair on July 19, 2014.  It was fun for me to meet new people in Woodstock who like my book and found my music entertaining. Adults and children danced to the music from the book's companion children's album that I played on an old fashioned CD player.

The August highlight was my 2 day performance at the Phoenicia International Festival of the Voice where I sang in the festival's choir and spent time at the Railroad Museum reading and performing selected chapters from my print and audio book Tales of the Rainbow Forest.

The week following the Festival of the Voice I traveled to East Hampton, NY and spent an enjoyable half hour with Judith Sleed, host of the local Long Island LTV program "The Play is The Thing".

Upon my return from Long Island I performed at Olana State Park in Hudson, NY for the second time where my entire audience consisted of adults who enjoyed my book and music and requested that I come to Connecticut in the fall for a performance/reading.

My current focus is working with a local award winning playwright on a script for a play based on Tales of the Rainbow Forest.  My goal is that the play will be performed in schools throughout the country and will be ready for production by October 2014.
